Ed is a Senior Vice President at Sloane & Company specializing in strategic communications, media relations, crisis communications and speechwriting. His career includes a number of strategic in-house and agency roles across the public and private sector with a focus on cross-functional, integrated communications campaigns.

Previously, Ed served as Director of Communications for Ro – one of the highest-valued direct-to-consumer telehealth companies in the U.S. – helping develop their consumer-facing brand narrative through the 2022 market downturn. Prior to Ro, he served as Director of Corporate Communications for IMAX (NYSE:IMAX) where he led strategic and crisis communications efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic for the entertainment technology company. At IMAX, Ed owned corporate communications for the IMAX Global Network, collaborated with the heads of investor relations, marketing, and the CEO to develop quarterly earnings narratives, and created and managed IMAX’s first formal Diversity & Inclusion Task Force.

Ed’s experience includes several agency roles, including a previous stint at Sloane & Company and with Sunshine Sachs, primarily helping businesses and individuals in highly regulated industries. Prior clients include the National Endowment for Financial Education, Cognizant, The Trevor Project, the Edison Electric Institute, Montefiore Health System, EmblemHealth, Chobani, Reddit co-Founder Alexis Ohanian, and the largest Teamsters local union in the country, among others.

Ed was also previously the Director of Communications for Congressman John B. Larson (CT-01), serving as his chief on-the-record spokesperson, speechwriter, and leading day-to-day media relations for both his official and campaign offices.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and two children.
